Active Directory Database corruption and you don’t know what to do?

Did you got stuck with a domain controller that at startup is showing a message “Directory is Rebuilding Indices” and after a long time it fails?

Download the XP SP2 Client
Once Downloaded the application needs to be run in XP SP2 compatibility mode
Right-Click the installer
Select Properties
Check the “Enable Compatibility box”
Select “Windows XP”
Apply and Close
Run the installer follow the prompts and complete the installation
Ta-da RDC 6.1 for Windows Server 2003

Windows 7, 2008, R2 inaccessible boot device, winload.exe

startup with windows cd

choose repair

command prompt

cd windows\system32

bootrec /rebuildbcd

reboot the system

check status with bcdedit if needed
