IIS SMTP folder structure and how smtp works

The message store of the SMTP service is created when you install the service on IIS. SMTP utilizes this directory structure to process mail. The folders created in the \Inetpub\Mailroot directory structure (message store) are listed below:

Client was not authenticated Exchange 2010 after new install

after a new installation off Exchange 2010 you are able to send mail, but not receive them.
go to Server Configuration – Hub Transport – Default receive connector and enable the anonymous user on the security settings tab.
