Cisco 3750 upgrade feature set

Error: The image in the archive which would be used to upgrade
Error: system number 1 does not support the same feature set.
I just got this error message while upgrading a Cisco Catalyst 3560 from 12.2(35)SE5 to 12.2(44)SE. The older version was IP BASE and the new version is ADVANCED IP SERVICES.

EVPN – This is a package VPN solution provided by Carries such as AT&T. Enhanced Virtual Private Network is actual a VPN provided over MPLS and isn’t encrypted. So it’s a virtual private network using MPLS over a carries network (Sonnet/SDH/ATM/Ethernet). If encryption is required then IPSec is required. So EVPN is basically a straightforward tunnel over a network using MPLS.

Cisco Identity NAT vs NAT Exemption

According to the Cisco ASA: All-in-One Firewall, IPS, and VPN Adaptive Security Appliance book, “The main difference between identity NAT and NAT exemption is that with identity NAT, the traffic must be sourced from the address specified with the nat 0 statement, whereas with NAT exemption, traffic can be initiated by the hosts on either side of the security appliance. NAT exemption is a preferred method to bypass traffic when it is flowing over a VPN tunnel.”
