Download the XP SP2 Client
Once Downloaded the application needs to be run in XP SP2 compatibility mode
Right-Click the installer
Select Properties
Check the “Enable Compatibility box”
Select “Windows XP”
Apply and Close
Run the installer follow the prompts and complete the installation

startup with windows cd
choose repair
command prompt
c:
cd windows\system32
bootrec /rebuildbcd
reboot the system
check status with bcdedit if needed
