Here a brief explaination on the security on Passive FTP.
This has the same impact on the machines running passive ftp now a days
As you know, FTP is a TCP/IP application-level protocol—not a Microsoft invention. Passive FTP is described as part of the FTP protocol specification in IETF Request for Comments (RFC) 959, which you can find at http://www.w3.org/protocols/rfc959. Before I explain passive FTP (sometimes called PASV for the actual FTP command that requests this kind of connection), let me review how standard, or active, FTP works.

Client was not authenticated Exchange 2010 after new install

after a new installation off Exchange 2010 you are able to send mail, but not receive them.
go to Server Configuration – Hub Transport – Default receive connector and enable the anonymous user on the security settings tab.

Enable recycle bin windows 2008 r2 for active directory

Raise Active Directory level to Windows 2008 R2
Click Start, click Administrative Tools, right-click Active Directory Module for Windows PowerShell, and then click Run as administrator
In AD powershell ( as administrator ) : Set-ADForestMode –Identity domain.local -ForestMode Windows2008R2Forest
